About us
Have a nice holiday in our wooden house built in 1818, but renovated in 1996 and converted it into an environmentally friendly holiday house. Our farm is situated in a quiet, secluded location. The holiday house is located just 80 metres away, next to the forest on a south-facing hillside with a view of the mountains and a private access road. You can enjoy our very own farm products. There is also the possibility to go hunting with the happy guidance of the farmer. During the summer, the forest is an inviting place to collect mushrooms or to walk one of the charming and beautiful hiking trails.
About us
Winter fun on our meadows:
With bob-sleighs and sleighs you can have lots of fun on our meadows in winter. During very snowy winters, we highly recommend deep-snow skiing. The next ski lifts car be found near us, on the Teichalm in Strallegg or in St. Kathrein in Hauenstein.
Work that needs to be done with us in winter:
- Felling trees for sale
- Preparing firewood for the next winter
- Machine maintenance and repair
- Working in the timber workshop
On our farm, we even milk the cows from which we make our home made butter, yoghurt and curd cheese.
We make jams and syrups, schnapps and apple juice from our own fruit.
Our bread is baked in a wood fired oven, like in the old days.
Of course we also sell eggs from our chickens at the market.
On our farm we keep about 35 cattle, a pig, some cats, a hunting dog and about 10 chickens.
You are welcome to accompany us in the barn to help feed and pet the animals.
